Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Android 10; Mobile; rv:68.0) Gecko/68.0 Firefox/68.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Click link to download a PDF.
- Select download using Firefox
- In status bar, select open
- Open file with Google drive app.
Actual results:
This does not open properly, so you have to open it from outside of Firefox. I use my phone's native file browsing system to view the file with Google drive app outside of Firefox. Or, you can select the PDF link in Firefox and then select open with Google drive, rather than downloading, to view it. Similarly, you cannot open with Google drive from the downloads section within Firefox.
Expected results:
It should open with Google drive PDF viewer after following the steps above.

Hi, i did tried with an older Firefox build 68.2.1 on Google Pixel 3 XL (Android 9) and didn't reproduce the issue .
Did not reproduce the issue with Google Pixel 3 XL (Android 9), Samsung Galaxy S9 (Android 8) and Sony Xperia Z5 (Android 7) on Firefox Release 68.8.0 build 2.
- What version of firefox release 68.0 are you using? Could you update/take to the last version of Firefox?
- With what device do you encounter the issue?
Note:
- Could you please check whether the google drive pdf viewer app needs to be updated? And retry to open the file from the snackbar?
68.7.0
Google pixel 3
When I go to the Google drive app in the play store, it only gives the option of uninstall or open, so it seems that it is up to date.

Because this bug's Severity has not been changed from the default since it was filed, and it's Priority is P3 (Backlog,) indicating it has been triaged, the bug's Severity is being updated to S3 (normal.)

Some files can be opened though:
https://s1.q4cdn.com/806093406/files/doc_downloads/test.pdf ------>(this works)
http://www.orimi.com/pdf-test.pdf ------------>(this does not)
What bugs me the most is there is no option in firefox to actually download the file. My setup is firefox 68.10.1 and acrobat reader 20.5 on Android 9: My phone is an Android One (Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite).
The exact error message reported by acrobat is something along the lines of "the file cannot be opened, you must download it beforehand".
