Steps to reproduce:

so this normal setting is almost myapp.herokuapp.com, and site_url is only one domain. but i wanna some custom url, that is fully working.

Actual results:

for this, force add allowed host custom domain, it's almost broken (no click to account menu, not showing content etc). and site_url is only one thing(well maybe i not find things)

Expected results:

custom domain is well working

Oops... but i wanna some plus custom url, that is fully working. - like a translate.example.com

IIUC you'd like to make your deployment of Pontoon available on a non-myapp.herokuapp.com domain.

There isn't much we can do about it in the codebase, which is independent of the domain the app is accessible on.
