Steps to reproduce:

Since updating to Firefox 75 2 days ago, not only the browser but my whole system freezes from time to time.

It seems to be related to Firefox : i deleted every extensions and the problem arises even with just the homepage opened.

I'm using Mac OS X 10.11.6 on a 2008 iMac with 4Gb RAM.

Actual results:

From times to times, the system freezes : iTunes music stops playing, CPU usage spikes, the dock freezes, I can't switch between windows ...

Expected results:

Normal usage like 2 days ago.

Deleting my Firefox profile solved the problem somehow.
