It would be nice to retain the 4.5 convention of using shift-delete to delete a message without copying it to the trash. I used this feature all the time and really miss it in mozilla.

I try Shift-Delete to del msg using Linux (2000-04-07-08 M15) and Win32 (2000-04-07-09 M15), they both crashes. Scott, what the the bug number for the crash bug? I need it so that I will re-visit this bug when the crash bug is fixed.
34960
Reminder to QA: when bug 34960 is fixed, re-test this bug.
Win32 (2000-05-19-09 M16) Linux (2000-05-19-08 M16) Shift/Delete works in these two platforms.
Mac (2000-05-19-08 M16) Mac works too. All 3 platforms works in POP and IMAP as well.
