Steps to reproduce:
Subscribe to https://apps.fedoraproject.org//calendar/ical/QA/
- new calendar
- On the network
- iCalendar (ICS)
- Keep the default "Offline Support" as enabled
- Wait until calendar entries show up
- Sync again
Actual results:
Every sync duplicates each calendar entry. Once I turn off "offline support" the duplicate entries disappear
Expected results:
The entries should not be duplicated in the first place. Alternatively if this is an issue only with read-only calendars, perhaps read-only should be automatically enabled and offline support disabled.

Or related to bug 1790959 depending on which way you look. Bug 1790959 reports essentially the same issue for a recent supported release.
