User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/81.0.4044.129 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

I went into options and changed my password

Actual results:

thunderbird would not accept my password

Expected results:

I should have been able to view my emails but I cant. It won't accept my password which I have never had to use before to access my emails

Version: 1.0 → 5.0

You can't change your password through the Thunderbird options - that will only change what Thunderbird knows. To change your password, change it at your mail provider (outlook.com I suppose) and then update it in Thunderbird.

Note that the latest Thunderbird is version 68. If you're using 5.0, please upgrade ASAP.
