I checked in a fix yesterday.
This will not change locales of ISO-8859-1 (e.g. English, French, German) and
CJK. Sorting for other charsets (e.g. Russian, Greek, East European) now should
sorts correctly. This is a Macintosh only change.

** Checked with 6/5/2000 Mac client **
I looked at both Latin 1 and Japanese sort data.
Mac gives rather different weight to various characters.
Thus the reasults are quire different form those obtained for
Windows but are consistent in both locales.
It's been working this way for a long time. Verification
is overdue but better late than never.
marking it as verified fixed.
