Steps to reproduce:
1) Open 'Mail & Newsgroups'
   You can use either [apple]+2 or 'Window'-menu

The errors are also seen if you close 'Mail & News' and then reopen
this is an expanded and reproducible version of bug 162432

I can't see this in build 2002-11-01-08 either, with JS strict warnings on.
