Steps to reproduce:
The megabar should have a customization option that allows you to switch to the classic bar. It should be added next to the themes dropdown in the customization tab.

Thanks for reporting, we are aware of concerns by a group of our users, and we're evaluating with UX further mitigations to the ones that were already put in place. Though at this time we don't plan to provide an option to revert the design.
If you have specific functionality concerns, that are not just about the visual extension or subjective taste, please let us know about them more specifically.
