User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.14; rv:77.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/77.0

Steps to reproduce:

1.) Force quit (⌥⌘⎋) Firefox Quantum (76 & 77.0b2) several times (3-5+).

2.) Restart FFQ

3.) When dialogue appears (resume session, or start anew?), select resume session

4.) Log into WordPress dot com

5.) Many/most buttons on WordPress dot com, including those for tags, Text (switch from Visual editor), etc., while attempting to write entry, are rendered inoperable

6.) Numerous unsuccessful attempts to ID problem made, including:
a.) restarting FFQ;
b.) sequentially disabling add-ons & extensions;
c.) restarting computer (MacBook Pro mid-2014, Mac OS 10.14.6);
d.) wholesale/complete disabling of all add-ons & extensions

7.) Attempts to resolve problem included concurrent log-in to WordPress dot com via FF Aurora Developer Edition (77.0b2), no problems observed in FFADE

8.) Upon force quitting FF Quantum (⌥⌘⎋), select "New Session"

9.) Log into WordPress dot com as before (step 4.))

10.) Problem resolved.

Actual results:

5.) Many/most buttons on WordPress dot com, including those for tags, Text (switch from Visual editor), etc., while attempting to write entry, are rendered inoperable

No other problems were ID'd on any other sites.

Expected results:

Buttons on WordPress dot com website (as enumerated in item 5.)) should have worked.

Problem is presently resolved, and appeared to be caused by selecting "Resume session" after force quitting FF several consecutive time (3-5+).

ADDENDUM: In the process of discovery, upon examination of add-ons after restarting FFQ – individually examining and disabling add-ons (extensions) and plugins – several problems were noted in various extensions in their Manifest URLs.

I'm not sure this is a Firefox bug vs Word Press site, but it's definitely not a security vulnerability.

It sounds to me that the page stopped loading, and failed to instrument the page with the JavaScript hooks, or that something else prevented the page from answering events (based on the video).

Can you reproduce the problem?
Can you reproduce the problem after pressing Cmd-Shift-R ?
