User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.1b) Gecko/20020722 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.1b) Gecko/20020722 While using Mozilla or Netscape under linux, or Netscape under windows, if I try to access the page above or several others such as http://mediawhoresonline.com or http://theonion.com that offer left-leaning political content, I recieve an error message titled "Information Alert" Error 403 "Inappropriate Content Blocked by s2922" followed by a code such as "/SEX 0 1" or "LANGUAGE 0 1" or in the case of http://ultimate-anonymity.com and other sites that offer proxies, "LOOPHOLE 0 1". The message doesn't say who s2922 is but the graphics on the page originate from http://216.81.190.72:1959. My ISP, Verizon Online, says they don't block any sites, and I have no 'Net-Nanny' type software installed. The reason I'm contacting you is that, so far at least, I only get these messages while using Mozilla or Netscape, not with Konquerer or IE/windows. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Log onto one of the above sites. 2. 3. Actual Results: I recieved this page: <html> <head> <title>Information Alert</title> </head> <body bgcolor="white"> <div align="center"><center> <table border="0" cellpadding="2" frame height="199" style="margin-top: 1px; margin-bottom: 1px; padding-top: 1px; padding-bottom: -1px"> <tr> <td height="34" align="center"><font color="black" face="Arial Bold" size="4"> <b><p align="center"></b></font><font face="Intrepid" size="6" color="#000080"> <strong>Information Alert </strong></font></td> </tr> <tr> <td height="20" align="center"><img height="8" width="445" src="http://216.81.190.72:1959/data/alertbar.gif"></td> </tr> <tr> <td height="24" width="444" bgcolor="white" align="center"> <p align="left"> <b><br><font color="black" face="Comic Sans MS">Status</font></b> <font color="#ff0033" face="Comic Sans MS"><b>: </b></font><font color="black" face="Comic Sans MS">403 Forbidden </font> </p> <p align="left"> <font color="black" face="Comic Sans MS"><b>Description</b></font> <font color="#ff0033" face="Comic Sans MS"><b>: </b></font><font color="black" face="Comic Sans MS">Inappropriate Content Blocked by s2922/LOOPHOLE 0 1</font> </p> <br> <br> </font></td> </tr> <tr> <td width="444" height="10" align="center"><img height="8" width="445" src="http://216.81.190.72:1959/data/alertbar.gif"></td> </tr> </table> </center></div> </body> </html> Expected Results: Taken me to the requested site.
Check your proxy settings in mozilla; you probably have them set to a site which does do such filtering.
