I couldn't think of a simple and concise bug title for this. STR:
- Navigate to badssl.com
- Right click on the "expired" link and choose Open Link in New Tab, and select the newly opened tab
- Click "Go Back (Recommended)"
Expected results:
Newtab page is shown and forward button is available to navigate back to expired.badssl.com
Actual results:
Newtab page is shown and back button is available to navigate back to expired.badssl.com, and after clicking the back button, the "Go Back" button actually is equivalent to clicking "forward"... which all works ok, but is kinda confusing.
This is happening at [1]. I'm not sure if it's easy to put the newtab page at the bottom of the session history stack rather than pushing it on top, and if it's not, I don't see a good way to fix this bug, but I wanted to have it on file.
