Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to https://drive.google.com/file/d/13U0WZMv6GxDCGHTAorD8-RbAft9SS2VJ/view or any other google drive file link
  2. Click Download on the top-right

Actual results:

Error page - Cyclic redirection

Expected results:

File should start downloading

Hello!
I have tried to reproduce the issue with the STR provided in the description but wasn't able to do it. I tried with Firefox Nightly 78.0a1 (2020-05-10) on Windows, Ubuntu 18.04 and MacOS 10.15.5 (beta).
I have a few questions:

  1. Does this issue reproduce with a fresh profile? Here is a link on how you can create one: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Firefox/Multiple_profiles .
  2. On what version did you encounter this issue?
  3. Does this issue happen on all the time?

I tried to download with fresh profile and I still got the error.

Firefox 76.0.1 64 bit

  1. Does this issue happen on all the time?

Yes. I tried refreshing the download page and I still get this error(translated from russian):
Cyclical redirection on the page
An error occurred while connecting to docs.google.com.
This problem may occur when disabling or prohibiting the acceptance of cookies.

Hello! Unfortunately I wasn't able to reproduce the issue on the lates Firefox Nightly 78.0a1(2020-05-20) and with Firefox 76.0a1 both on a RU locale and on EN locale using Windows 10 64-bit.
I will set a component so one of our developers could look more into it. If it's not the right component please feel free to change it to an appropriate one.

Can you go to about:support, click the "copy raw data to clipboard" button, and then paste it as an attachment at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?bugid=1636848&action=enter ?

None of us are able to reproduce, so it's likely that something is somehow different about the requests google drive is making for you - perhaps related to antivirus/firewall interference, or some other issue.
