Steps to Reproduce:
Open mozilla browser, Open a few tabs, try to close any.
Actual Results:  
Tabs do not close

Expected Results:  
Tabs should close

Tried the following ways to close:
- Click 'X' for tab
- Press CTRL-W
- Menu->File->Close Tab

Try deleting components/compreg.dat.
