User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:77.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/77.0
Steps to reproduce:
Open Firefox (developer edition) on Windows 10 and maximize the window on a 4k monitor. If you have extensions, try clicking them to open the window, alternatively click the hamburger menu (alt text: Open menu).
Actual results:
The menu that opens is only a few pixels tall. This does not happen if the window is not maximized or if it is maximized on a screen of different resolution (I tried 1920x1080 and 2560x1440), the problem goes away
Expected results:
Menu expands normally regardless of screen it's on.

Hi, I tried to reproduce this issue on Dell Laptop attached to a 4k monitor set with the recommended resolution of 3840 x 2160, and I was unable to reproduce this issue.
Is there a specific add-on you have installed that might cause these issues ? can you please try with a fresh profile ? you can find the steps here on how to do that : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Managing-profiles#w_starting-the-profile-manager
Ive also tried Beta 77.0b7 as well as our latest Nightly build and I was unable to reproduce the issue there either. Can you please try our latest Nightly build ? you can find it here: https://nightly.mozilla.org/ and see if the issue occurs there on your end ?

I tried to use a fresh profile with no add-ons and the nightly but the issue still persisted. I had hardware acceleration turned off, but turned it on, and the problem is still there. I wonder if its some esoteric setting on my PC, but I wouldn't know where to start looking.
Thanks for looking into this!

An update: I changed my monitor setup, using 3 UHD monoitors instead of a 2 UHD and 1 QHD, and the problem seemed to go away. I have a feeling it has to do with the scaling between the monitors, and the fact that the QHD monitor was the primary monitor in the display settings. Other things like the font size in the explorer opened when navigating in other applications was messed up and have now been resolved as well.
