[Prerequisites]:

• Have a new Firefox profile with the "browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.asrouter.devtoolsEnabled" pref set to "true" in the "about:config" page.

[Steps to reproduce]:

1. Open the browser with the profile from prerequisites.
2. Navigate to the "about:newtab#devtools-wnpanel" page.
3. Click the "Open What's New Panel" button and press the "Tab" key once.
4. Press the "Enter" key and observe the behavior.

[Expected result]:

• The "What's New" panel is dismissed and the "How to generate a secure password in Firefox" page is opened in a new tab.

[Actual result]:

• The "What's New" panel is dismissed but no page is opened.

[Notes]:

• This issue is reproducible if the "Space" key is pressed after the message is focused.
• This issue is reproducible if the links are focused instead of the messages.
• This issue is not reproducible if the "What's New" panel is opened from the hamburger menu.
• We are not sure if this issue is a regression because we have not managed to trigger the "What's New" toolbar button on older Nightly versions.

What's New Panel has been removed, so I'm going to close this as invalid. If it needs to be revived for the Protections panel (per 1724300) or a new version of the WNP (1754223) we can reopen it.

Hi, Emily! Usually, when we close these type of issues that are affecting Firefox functionality that is no longer available in the browser, we mark those as WONTFIX.

Considering that this issue was valid at the moment it was logged I am changing the status of this issue to WONTFIX if you don't mind.
