User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/81.0.4044.138 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
I am using Firefox 76.0.1 (64 bit) on Windows 10.
-
I am working internal corporate sites. Which keeps asking the NTLM certificate "
refer "User identification request" popup request as in screenshot attached -
I have tried everything as mentioned in this solution
https://superuser.com/questions/664656/how-to-configure-firefox-for-ntlm-sso-single-sign-on
Please refer my preferences which are attached as screenshot. -
The configuration is not effective. Whenever I close and reopen my firefox and while access the site first time, the popup keeps coming
-
I have also checked the checkbox "Remember my decision" But still that checkbox is not effective. the select certificate popup keeps coming while accessing the site after restarting the browser
Actual results:
The "User identification request" Popup keeps coming while accessing the site after restarting the browser.
Expected results:
Silent NTLM authetication should happen without "user identification request popup"

Bugbug thinks this bug should belong to this component, but please revert this change in case of error.
That dialog has nothing to do with NTLM certificates. It's asking you to select a TLS client authentication certificate because a server you connected to requested one. The issue of Firefox not remembering these decisions across restarts is a known issue (bug 634697).
