I can now download. It just started working again... Though a new bug is occurring. Every so often, when I click on the download symbol/button, to look at the progress of a download or just to see if it is complete, nothing happens when I click. I try repeatedly, close all my other running applications, checked system monitor to see if something was using too much of the CPU or something. I couldn't find any reason for getting no response. Exiting Firefox and re-opening it would fix the issue for a time. It has only happen twice I think, since downloads were working again, but rather odd. Otherwise I can close this bug report.

The initial report looks like it is without addons, but re-tested with addons. Latter report in comment 3 looks like a download panel issue.

it may still be related to add-ons, it's hard to tell from the current description.
When it happens, do you see any error printed into the Browser Console when clicking on the downloads button?
Can you reproduce easily, ot is it very intermittent, and thus hard to test repeatedly?

Hello,
I’ve attempted to reproduce the issue on the latest Nightly (79.0a1/20200609151649), Beta (78.0b4/20200605150717) and Release (77.0.1/20200602222727) under Windows 10 Pro 64-bit and Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, however without success i.e videos can be properly downloaded when using downloader add-ons.
I have tested the issue using 2 add-ons, “Easy Youtube Video Downloader Express” and “Video DownloadHelper”, on Reddit, YouTube and Twitter.
Simply clicking the right mouse button and selecting “Save Video As...” from the context menu did not work on the tested sites as the option was greyed out.
“Easy Youtube Video Downloader Express” uses the browser’s download manager to perform the task while “Video DownloadHelper” uses both a third party download manager (for large files) and the browser’s download manager. I’ve attempted to download videos from the above mentioned sources using both the browser’s download manager and the third party download manager and each time the videos are properly downloaded.
