Affected versions

Preconditions

  • Have an old version of Firefox installed (e.g. Fx73 beta).

Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch the latest beta stub installer.
  2. Hover over the Update button.

Expected result

  • There is a hover animation (button color becomes darker).

Actual result

  • Nothing happens.

Regression range

  • Issue occurs from the first Fx77 beta.

Additional notes

  • This issue occurs on the Re-install button as well.

It would probably be possible to set this on button:hover, IE8 reportedly supports this but I haven't tested it yet, and I don't know if a new color would have to be specified manually or if there's a reasonable way to tell the browser to just tweak the color somewhat.

S3 as this is not purely cosmetic, hover is helpful to communicate that the button is in fact a button.
