User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.2; Win64; x64; rv:76.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/76.0
Steps to reproduce:
I've tried all smtp re-configurations imaginable, (no problem with POP as emails are received with correct time with my pc's time) - - but nothing so far has helped get the off-time corrected. I checked my calendar, which shows tasks starting one hour advanced from actual time,--and I made sure my time zone is correct (which it is, as Central day-light savings time) - - and nearest city to my Evansville, Indiana location is Tell City, Indiana, on same time-zone...I hoped by my removing and/or disabling the integrated Lightning Calendar might help, as some have complained it doesn't regularly upgrade time changes, but this change I made has also not helped. I had first thought my server, Juno might be causing the problem, but any emails I send & receive direct thru Juno stay with my pc's correct time, not off that advanced hour which shows thru smtp T-bird. I've also checked anything I can find in Mozilla Firefox's options, and see nothing showing that my time zone is registered incorrect. One kind tech. has recently suggested that I check off the box in Netzero that I don't want my smartphone connected with Netzero,--but I don't have an account with Netzero, so couldn't make any changes...I do have a smart phone number registered on one of my programs, but have never checked allowance for it to be connected with my account..Would U please check on this and get back with me s-a-p with any suggestions I might try for correcting this problem? I've spent hours searching internet for answers and found a good number of other T-bird users having the same smtp advanced hour time-stamped problem. Thanks so much.
Actual results:
no changes as I mentioned above have helped
Expected results:
to see my emails going out through smtp Thunderbird to be time-stamped with the correct time showing on my Windows 10 pc, -- - so those sent emails will no longer be time-stamped an hour advanced from the correct time.

There is also bug 1636676. Still no idea why that would happen.
