Bernd, which version did you use? 1.0, 1.1, trunk? Build ID?
I think you say, you crash on sending the first signed message in a session, if
sending the message is also the first time you are required to enter your master
password.
You say, you only crash when you reply to a message. If you start by composing a
message, you do not crash. Is that correct?
I am unable to reproduce this problem with a trunk build from 3 days ago. I will
try with a more recent one.

Hello Kai,
I'm using version 1.0 (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US;
rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020530).
Mozilla chrashed when doing a signed reply as first send action. Then
Mozilla requires the master password. After entering it it crashed.
When composing a new signed message it works.
Your are right in understanding.
Thanks so far.
Bernd

I cannot reproduce this. There were some problems in this area around the time
frame of his build.
Bernd, you didn't happen to be in FIPS mode did you?

Can you download the latest build from the mozilla site and see if you still
have the problem? Thanks,
