I have Mozilla 1.1b and Zonealarm pro V. 3 and tehre are problme with the
program Privacy option in On. Apparently the problem was solved, like appears in
http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=139053, but truly it is not this way
it. Usually in the middle of a load process, it appears to the left below corner
the sentence Stopped. Only if you put the program Control privacy option in Off,
in zone Alarm Pro, everything is OK again.

Hello,

I can confirm severe interference with the latest 1.0.1 and 1.1 builds.

When Zone Alarm Pro 3.x is on, the following happens:
Pages such as mail.yahoo.com are not displayed correctly, because they are fed
bad html from somewhere. (Some stray image attributes appear on the page).

Here is how Yahoo Mail should look:

This also happens on Mozillazine.

Also - weird trash appears at the top of the Economist page. Screenshot:

In the Aug 2nd nightly it looks okay:

Also - Netscape.com is corrupted:

All of this behaviour stops when Zone Alarm Pro is shut down.

This does not occur in Netscape 7.0 pr 1 or a 1.1 nightly from August 2nd.

I will upgrade to the latest Zone Alarm Pro version and see if this still happens.

My current Zone Alarm Pro version:

zone alarm pro 3.0.118
true vector security engine 3.0.118
driver version 3.0.118

Regards,

- Jay
Hello,

the problems I had with Zone Alarm Pro 3.x have not occured again, since I
upgraded to their latest version: 3.0.134 .

I also forgot to mention in my last comment that Mozilla would stop sending and
receving data (for the rest of the browsing session) if I pressed the "Stop"
button while a page was loading. That means after I stopped page A from loading,
I could not load page A, page B or page C.

These problems seem to be gone now.

However, I would not close this bug immediately, because there seem to be
recurring problems with ZAP 3.x and Mozilla, which I think need to be looked
into. Often, these problems disappear with a new version of Mozilla or ZAP, but
it seems certain that they will come back.

Regards,
- Jay

Isn't this really close to <https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=158887>?

I'm no longer seeing this symptom. Now at ZA 5.1.033.

If it were mine, I'd set this WORKS4ME -- someone who can do so should (unless
the other cc's scream, of course).
No one screams ... marking as WFM.

Feel free to reopen if the problem persists with current versions and it is
reproducable.
