164047 - IMAP thread pane headers lose text

seen on mac os9 commercial trunk build 2002-08-22-04-trunk

-Login to an IMAP account
notice that the thread pane headers for the mail messages are missing text (date
is okay)

for AOL IMAP account notice that there is text but the from field is intergrated
into the subject. 

This is not preventing mail from being sent or received
Also this is not affecting POP account thread pane.

But seems bad enough to be considered a blocker.

I'm seeing this, *AND* the dates are messed up (showing up as 1969 on half the
emails, which is very wrong, being as I haven't recieved any emails on my test
account older than 3 weeks ago)

this must be mine - this is mac-only, right? I suspect it's a line termination
issue. Unfortunately, I don't have a mac to be able to debug this, so I'm going
to have to take a guess.

the release machines, and try to help.

attempted fix checked in to nsImapProtocol.cpp - I've e-mailed Loan to try to
get him to spin a new mac build (I think this would also affect Linux, so a new
linux build should probably be spun up too)

John and Tracy, you'll need to remove the .msf files in the profile that
exhibits this problem (just INBOX.msf if you just received mail into your
inbox). Or blow away the profile.

I've tested mac classic and linux builds with david's fix, and they work fine.
