User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020529
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020529

I downloaded the RC1 build, started the decompression, this resulted in a EOF
report, then the process shut down after the 5th file ./mozilla-xxxxx.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.download the RC1 tar.gz to a linux 7.3 box
2.start the decompression (tar -xzvf)
3.

Actual Results:
Only some of the files were decompressed

Expected Results:
Open all the files needed for the installation.

Nope

which RC1? 1.0.1RC1? which file? sea? installer?

this one worked fine for me:
http://download.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/releases/mozilla1.0.1rc1/mozilla-i686-pc-linux-gnu-1.0.1rc1-sea.tar.gz

you might have just had a bad connection while you were downloading. try
downloading again.

No response from the reporter.

Louis, it really sounds like you just didn't get a complete copy of the file you
were trying to download. If you're experiencing this with recent versions of
mozilla, please report the specific copy of mozilla that you're trying to download.
