Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:76.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/76.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Find a long enough page with a video:
a) a Reddit list page after enough scrolling (just tested on main after loading about 500 posts)
b) a YouTube video page after loading several thousands of comments
Actual results:
Video controls affect the video only after a delay that is somewhat proportional to the page length.
Expected results:
Video controls do not experience delays, work as always.

Hello I wasn't able to reproduce the issue using ubuntu 18.04 LTS with Firefox Nightly 79.0a1 (2020-06-09).
I have a few questions:
1. Does this issue reproduce with a new profile? Here is a link on how to create one https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Firefox/Multiple_profiles
.
2. Does this issue happen all the time?
3. Do you have any addons installed? If yes could you please provide a list?
In short:
- Yes.
- Every time I load enough posts on an "endless scroll" page with a video.
- Not relevant, because 1.
Tried again with a new profile without addons on 77.0.1, *buntu 20.04, reproduced after about 600 posts on Reddit main page. This time I noticed that the process was consuming more and more CPU time the longer the page got and the noticeable problems started when it hit 100% of one CPU core with no input from me, visible videos on pause. I have only one addon in the profile I was originally having this issue on: uBlock Origin.

Hi Сергій
Would you mind using the profiler to record the situation you have? Here are some tutorials:
To add to the above, if you could share the profile and post the link of this bug, that would be helpful.
No longer relevant.
