Steps to reproduce:

Due to sudden power off all my logins/passwords stored in Firefox Lockwise are lost, I signed in Firefox account and clicked on Sync now but no login/password is retrieved ! How can I recover my lost passwords please ?

Bugbug thinks this bug should belong to this component, but please revert this change in case of error.

Hi there, sorry you're having trouble getting your logins back! Can you please try these steps?

  1. Type in about:config in the address bar (and click "Accept the risk and continue" if you get the proceed with caution screen).
  2. Search for services.sync.passwords.lastSync.
  3. Click the "Delete" button on the right to clear the pref.
  4. Click "Sync now" again. Sync should re-download all your logins from the server.

OMG ! Thanks really for your great help, It worked after retrying those steps for 3 times, and After the 3rd time I closed then reopened Firefox again and boom all my passwords are back, I was frustrated for the last hours about remembering/resetting all my passwords. Thanks really for your help from my heart.

Thanks for getting back to us - we are tracking how to do a better job so this isn't necessary in bug 1377100, so I'm going to mark this as a duplicate of that.
