Using 19991013m11 build on win32, mac and linux import a list as a card when
importing a .ldif file Note: Lists aren't supported yet so this is probably
the cause, but this needs to be checked when Lists are supported. I wrote up a
bug for List support (16421)

1. Launch Address book
2. Select Import from the File menu list
3. Import a .ldif files that has a list in it.
4. Select the newly imported address book
5. Find the name of the list and select it.

Result: in the Card view pane you will see the List represented as a card with
just a display name
Expected: To see the List represented as a list

Sending to Candice.
Move chuang bugs to after her sabbatical
Target Milestone: M13 → M14
Move to M14 since the mailing list code is not in yet.
Status: NEW → ASSIGNED
After looking at the code, it is better to fix it when we have the mailing list
. Move to M15.
Target Milestone: M14 → M15
Move to M16 since mailing list will be done in M15
Target Milestone: M15 → M16
Priority: P3 → P2
Not beta2 stopper. Marking M20.
Target Milestone: M16 → M20
Add nsbeta2. I like to see this finished since we have mailing list now.

remove "+". Now we support mailing list, this bug should be fixed. Otherwise
it's data loss.

PDT is confused..is this an open bug or not? If open, are you nominating for
nsbeta2? What is the data loss issue?
Whiteboard: [NEED INFO]
Yes, this is an open bug way back before beta1. When importing an ldif file
containing a mailing list, we just ignore the mailing list back then. The
mailing list won't get imported into address book, in other word, user will lose
the mailing list in this ldif file. Now we have mailing list support, this bug
should be fixed too.
Putting on [nsbeta2+] radar for beta2 fix.

Using build 2000-06-12 on win98 this is not fixed. The list name is imported as
a card still. I exported a simple address book in 4.7 to an .ldif file and
imported it back into seamonkey address book. reopening Note this is Win98
only now. Mac and liux imported the list.

Resolving as fixed again, my mistake. I was using the m16 windows build. I
will save Candice time and resolve and verify this.
