Don't know, not using 78 yet because my add-ons aren't ready for it, will circle back if I encounter this issue again in 78.

I am also not seeing hangs on TB78 anymore.
However, I'm seeing another intermittent issue: occasionally when I open a TB78 window on macOS, the window is completely blank. The next time it happens I'll capture the error console and open a new issue.
