I haven't been able to reproduce this yet. Andrei, are you able to help me find some STR?

As per the initial report the STR as pretty accurate with a few additional mentions:
The exact behaviour can be observed on Win10, as the domain is not removed from the list even tho it's selected and you navigate back to about:preferences#home
On macOS 10.15.5 there are 2 additional issues with some additional steps:
- holding the backspace key pressed keeps removing domains up until a point at which you navigate back and the modal closes;
- (for me) removal via backspace of multiple domains, on the 2nd/3rd key-press the modal closes and page is navigated back to about:newtab
Updating fields as well for the bug, at first glimpse issue appears to reproduce on older builds as well such as 60.0.

This issues is not a regression.
I went back as far as Nightly 59.0a1 and it was still reproducible.

I can't reproduce this on Windows or macOS. Hannah, could this be a duplicate of the bug you fixed?
