Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:76.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/76.0
Steps to reproduce:
I have both IMAP and SMTP configured to use OAUTH2 authentification on a Gmail account. It was working fine until I had to change my password.
Actual results:
Since the password has been changed, the google sign-in prompts shows up when mails are checked.
On the 1st screen, my mail adress is already filled in.
But when I click "next", I'm not redirected to the 2nd screen with the password input: I'm back on the 1st screen with the email input empty, and no error message anywhere.
I never get to the next screen, It's stuck on an endless loop.
Expected results:
After clicking "next" on the 1st screen, I should be redirected to the 2nd screen with the password input.

I added the mozillateam ppa and upgraded to the latest version just in case: same problem.
Also when I switch the authentification type to "normal password" it works fine (but I'd rather not :p)

I had an similar issue this week. I just allowed cookies (Settings -> Privacy) and the redirection problem has gone.

Thanks @Florian, that solved the issue indeed.
I think a warning should be displayed in the account settings if Oauth2 is selected but cookies are disabled.
