Details
The back button (and or forward) do not highlight when there is history.
Clicking on them does nothing. You must right click and select from the menu.
The animated mozilla busy area (M -> Head -> M ) does not animate. Stays at 'M'.
No URLS appear in URL area.
I'm use the grey modern chrome.

Other chome are affected as well. I tried Classic too.

Reporter: Could you please open Tools->Web Development->JavaScript Console
and click the non-working back/forward buttons while looking at it?

This may be a duplicate of 162593. Sounds very similar to the problem I
experienced when trying the nightly installer build. Perhaps the reporter should
try deleting the compreg.dat file out of their components directory and giving
it a shot.
