Details

RFE: Use higher compression level when building JAR/ZIP archives.
Currently we use /usr/bin/zip to create JAR archives without any specical
compression level option. It may be worth of adding the option "-9" to force
maximum compression.

Benefit: Smaller archives
Costs: More time required to pack the archives (at build time)

I don't think that "-9" is a good idea
I proposed "-0" :-)
Have you got some numbers about decompression time ("-9", "-3" or "-0")?
Is it slower ? I think that it's what matters here
