This (microsoft.com) page does not display correctly - it is as if the entire page has been scrolled to the left a little bit (about 10 pixels), but there are no horizontal scroll bars . If I resize the window smaller to create horizontal scroll bars, I still can not scroll left far enough to display the entire page. I realise that microsoft probably tried really hard to come up with a page that does this, and of course it renders fine in IE, but it's a bit embaressing for mozilla to make the left edge of the page unviewable. This is no doubt a duplicate bug, but I couldn't guess the right search terms to find an existing instance of this problem. Hopefully someone more familar with the problem will be able to do so.
I have a picture of the problem.. but I can't upload it.. when I create an attachment, bugzilla prompts me for all the usual details of the filename, description, etc.. and then when I submit it, it comes up and asks me for my username and password again.. fine fine.. submit that (again), and then it complains that I did not specify a filename.. which I did. The picture can be viewed at http://home.aut.ac.nz/~ibatterb/ms.com.stuffed.jpg
Yes, same problem on LINUX (see the attachment) Mozilla 1.1b Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.1b) Gecko/20020825
the page sends different css file link depending on the user agent, for MSIE this is sent: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/css/WinMacIE.css for Netscape, this is sent: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/css/WinNN.css -> Tech Evangelism
