User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.1) Gecko/20020824 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.1) Gecko/20020824 In the page at http://www.bluesnews.com/, there will be screen garbages located at the side or bottom of the homepage rendered when you scroll down and try to view the content. Usually this happens with homepage with width larger than the viewable region (meaning there's a horizontal scroll bar presents too). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Go to www.bluesnews.com 2.Scroll down the page 3.You can see the screen garbage somewhere. Actual Results: Screen garbage. Expected Results: Clear those garbage and clean rendering of homepage like that.
Can't see described behavior with yesterdays nightly build cvs 20020825 on Linux. I have the scrollbar present too. However i did see the problem yesterday, but didn't log the bug since it cannot be easily reproduced. Going to the same page twice clears the problem.
I can still re-create the bug by scrolling the page down or left-and-right a bit. Strangely 1.0 release has no such bug.
On a side note, I can't get the latest Linux Nightly build to run either, it shows this error message: "serial 1359 error_code 3 request_code 61 minor_code 0" when I tried to run it.
WFM 1.1b Linux i386
New findings: When I press F9 to remove the side bar, the screen garbage is not there anymore. For reference I set my desktop resolution at 1024x768 using the same 20020824 build as I reported. Hope this is a hint to track down the problem.
Confirming. I've seen that on other pages with the 20020824 build on linux too. I've seen it with text and images, putting into layout, please reassign if inappropriate.

This WFM with trunk 2002081808 on WinME, but it sounds related to bug 122063.
Wily Yuen: the crash on startup is probably bug 142334
I see, thanks Robert.
dupe of "long page below iframe is corrupted" if you can't reproduce the bug, make your window narrow. the corruption appears at a certain point below the iframe ad at the top, so if the page is too short, the bug won't happen. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 132448 ***
