2. You are redirected to https://www.avis.com/AvisWeb/reservation/RateShopper
which states: We are unable to process your request at this time.
3. Repeat step 1 using an other browser.
4. You are redirected to http://www.avis.com/AvisWeb/home/AvisHome which
indicates that Avis is suddenly back in business online!

worksforme linux trunk cvs 2002-08-26, I get directed to
<http://www.avis.com/AvisWeb/home/AvisHome>. Reporter, perhaps you have some
cookies from them (tools > cookie > manage)? What Mozilla version (& build id)
are you using? Also try creating a new profile and see if the site works with that.

OK it works for me as well now using 2002072104 - must have been a genuine fault
on Avis site?

INVALID - The problem described is not a bug 

WORKSFORME - All attempts at reproducing this bug were futile, reading the code
produces no clues as to why this behavior would occur. 

This bug is not INVALID, it's WFM. Reopening to mark so.
