Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:77.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/77.0
Steps to reproduce:
If you use Firefox with a hardware token (e.g. a PIV) it will prompt with a generic “Password Required” prompt which says “Please enter the master password for the <certificate subject>”. This should be more clearly distinguished from Firefox's master password system to avoid inadvertently hitting a PIN trial limit.
Expected results:
Firefox should use the term “PIN” to match the device terminology and should clearly indicate that it is attempting to unlock a token rather than the password vault.
