Steps to reproduce:
I deleted a message in an IMAP folder then choose Edit/Undo.
Version 68.8.0.
Actual results:
Undo does nothing.
Expected results:
Undo should undelete.

Reporter, does this happen for you when using version 78? You can update by going to help > about.

I still have 68.10.0 (in Ubuntu 20). Upgrading to 78 now is not feasible.
I've noticed something like this for a long time.
I'm using Thunderbird (now 78.3.1 on Linux, Debian 10) on an IMAP server (and a localhost account for development). Undo actions don't so much not happen, as that they often take a very long (easily over half a minute) time to complete.
Since there's not any feedback about the undo being processed, it might seem that it doesn't work.
