User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:79.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/79.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Go to a website or service where a microphone will be used, such as Discord.
- Give all necessary permissions for the microphone
Actual results:
A popup appears on nearly every screen, which is extremely distracting and interferes with the content of most fullscreen/maximized apps, websites, and games.
Expected results:
This should be removed because it is extremely redundant due to the fact that there are already microphone indicators in the address bar, the tab, and the macOS menu bar. This also visibly interferes with other content, such as games or videos that may be maximized. Having a minimize button is not ideal, as it still gets in the way to begin with and becomes largely annoying.

Thank you for reporting, chancharge.
I ran this by UX. We want the indicator to be consistent, and to reinforce the relationship between an action (sharing a device over WebRTC) with the display of the indicator. The indicator is draggable and minimizable to account for possible conflicts.
