Steps to reproduce:

I have an incoming mail with total say more than 20 recipients. I reply all to the email. The reply window opens.
(my system Mac is 64 bit with auto update and just recently updated to Version 68.9.0)

Actual results:

Reply window is full of all the email address cover all the space available on the page. It does not give me chance to re-size the window. So I have no access to email body to write the message.

Expected results:

Reply window just shows 3 lines of email address (which was the case earlier.) allowing me to write the email message in the body of the email. Also allowing me to scroll the email addresses.

My message header has a scroll bar when I use Reply All.

I can also vertically resize the header by grabbing the border below the Formatting toolbar.

I'm using Thunderbird 68.9.0 on Ubuntu 18.04.4 Ubuntu Linux.

You don't have a scroll bar and can't resize the message header in your 68.9.0 on a Mac?

Does maximizing the window help any?

I do not get any scroll bar. I can not resize the message header window. If I have less number of responders (say 5-6, T, & Cc together) then I can see the end of header window and can resize the header window with the mouse. After I resize and then I can see scroll bar.

I also tried maximising window, full screen, manually reducing the screen etc but nothing works.

However, if the number of responders are more (say 40, To, Cc, together) such that it the header window is full of addresses and cannot see the end of it. So there is no way to reduce using mouse and the scroll bar is not visible till the time I manually reduce header window using mouse.

Please help.

Hi

I found the solution. It was the update of Smart Template4 version 2.11.1 (09 June 2020) caused the problem. Now, i revert back to 2.10.1 and everything seems to be ok.
