Steps to reproduce:
in 3-pane window, click on some mail in the middle pane. Go into right pane (Mail view), type ctrl+F (to open the in-site search). You don't have to enter anything here, just leave this search field open.
Then mouse-click into the middle pane. Try to navigate in the middle pane with the keyboard (arrow keys).
Actual results:
arrow keys scroll the e-mail
Expected results:
arrow keys navigate thorugh the middle pane
(and exactly this works correctly once you close the in-site search)

(Note, quick search is shift+ctrl+F. ctrl+F is find in message, which forces focus to stay in the message page.)
