The various functions related to dynamic result types have decent javadocs, but it would be helpful to have an overview in our in-tree documentation. It could live in a new file or maybe in the extensions/experiments doc.

Marco pointed out that it would be helpful for the doc to discuss a11y issues related to dynamic types, along with any other pain points/gotchas. For example, see bug 1680022.
