Steps to reproduce

1. Start Firefox
2. Visit the following demopage: https://codepen.io/Alca/pen/mWBoOO

Expected result

• The demo works without issues, animated text with refresh screen effect can be seen.

Actual result

• Beta/Release: No animation can be seen in Firefox, also when clicking inside the demo, the background turns white.
• Nightly: Text animation can be seen, but the background stays white.

Regression range

• Not a regression since I went to Firefox 45 (rc and nightly) and the same behavior can be seen there as well. Older then 45, the demo is not displayed at all.

Additional notes

• Chrome and Safari displays the demo just fine.
• Since this is an old issue I don't think the severity should be that high, my suggestion would be a S4.

Desktop QA has been highlighting this defect as a known issue for several release cycles now, following regression testing. Lee, it would really help us if you set a priority on this bug — it will give us clarity on whether this issue is still worth mentioning in future test reports.
