Details
Any change in the text in the URL bar (modifying the existing URL or entering a new one) causes the icon to dim, and the "Enter" key results in no action. Upon hitting "Esc" the original URL returns and the icon is again un-dimmed. Note that this behavior began after installing Mozilla 1.1, and exists in not only the 1.1 browser, but also the Mozilla 1.0 and 1.1-beta versions which didn't have this problem before installing Mozilla 1.1.
WorksForMe using Mac/2002082503/9.2.2. D J, can you reproduce this problem using another Mozilla user profile?

Greg, You seem to have put your finger on it. When I created a new profile and started up Mozilla this problem didn't appear (for all versions I have installed, 1.0, 1.1-beta, 1.1, 1.0.1-rc2). Something must have been changed in my original profile during the 1.1 install. I don't know what to change in the original profile to fix it, but at least I can get it working with a new profile.
