Details
On RedHat 7.1 systems, using KDE and the RedHat 7.x RPM Mozilla binaries:
Mozilla no longer has an icon in some places: in the top left of the Mozilla
window, and in the KDE taskbar. Instead KDE just uses its defaults. This was
not a problem in Mozilla 1.0, but it is present in Mozilla 1.1.
Same problem here, I compiled it from the 1.1 final version, and I don't have
any icons in the KDE-taskbar.
Previous nightly builds (ftp) didn't show this problem. (1.1b)
Slackware 8.1, 2.4.19, mostly self-build

The RPM packaging stuff didn't pick up the changed icon location
malfi@gmx.net: if your build was an rpm build too (like the reporter's was),
then this is a dupe of bug 164478
I forget to mention that I just compiled it from the CVS:
cvs co -r MOZILLA_1_1_RELEASE mozilla/client.mk
gmake -f client.mk checkout
That shouldn't be a RPM problem though.
Compiling the latest CVS branch always produced these icons.

Same problem running KDE 3.0.2 under SuSE Linux 7.1 using the Mozilla 1.1
.tar.gz distribution.
As a workaround I copied all icons from patch
http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=94903&action=view
into my ${MOZILLA_HOME}/icons directory but restarting mozilla makes it not pick
them up.
Icon support seems to be severely broken in the 1.1 final :-(
Does this also happen with 1.2alfa, 1.2 beta or recent nighlty builds? If not
please close this bug.

I haven't got this problem with 1.2b (2002101612) on SuSE Linux 8.0 with KDE 3.0.4.
Resolving as WFM due to comment 6, and because 1.1 is an old build now. If this
problem should reapear with the 1.2 release, it is probably better to fill a new
bug.
