User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:78.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/78.0

Steps to reproduce:

Use Linux. Set keyboard layout to Neo 2 (e.g. by setxkbmap de neo). Enter address or search string into address or search bar. Press AltGr+v (Mod4+p in Neo terms).

Actual results:

Result is opened in new tab. I assume the keypresses are interpreted as AltGr+Enter.

Expected results:

Result is opened in current tab. The keypresses should be interpreted as just Enter.

Component: Untriaged → Address Bar
OS: Unspecified → Linux
Hardware: Unspecified → x86_64

There are many layouts where AltGr is interpreted differently.

  1. Still exists in 92.0.1
  2. In general, this Problem affects many Layouts. If a layout is related to Neo2 (for example Bone, KOY, etc.), this bug persists.
