Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:78.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/78.0

Steps to reproduce:

Playing ANY video online on any website (e.g. YouTube).

Actual results:

While playing videos online, every few seconds both video and audio would freeze for a couple centiseconds and an audio distortion would be heard.

This must me a Firefox issue, because all other browsers work correctly when playing the same videos. No issues can be noticed when playing either video or audio files using other programs.

Both audio and graphics drivers are up to date.

I've tried using Firefox on safe-mode (all add-ons disabled), but the issue persists. Disabling hardware acceleration also hasn't fixed the issue.

Expected results:

Video should play without either audio or video distortions.
