RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1626278

People

(Reporter: rpopovici, Unassigned)

Details

Affected version:
79.0b3

Affected platform:
Win 7

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Load https://us04web.zoom.us/ and log in.
  2. Perform a call with a system of any OS type: Win 7 on Fx79.0b3 - Win 10 on Chrome
  3. Open about:webrtc in another tab.
  4. Close the call, go back to the "about:webrtc" tab, and refresh it.

Actual result:
Logs from about:webrtc are deleted when Zoom call ended

Expected result:
Logs are displayed on about:webrtc with the string "(closed)" appears in the title of the log.

I have also seen this bug reproduce in these circumstances:
Windows 10, Nightly v80, host - in meeting with - Mac OS 10.12, Nightly v80, joiner
Windows 10 system closes call, logs remain, but the logs on Mac OS are lost.

I've also reproduced this w/ Nightly 80 between macOS and macOS machines. I can't reproduce this with Release (78). I'll pursue further tomorrow.

2nd data point: I don't see this issue using whereby.

3rd data point: turning off the socket process on Nightly seems to solve the problem.

:bwc - any thoughts on this?

I'm guessing there is some ICE stats query that is failing.

:jib, is this something that you can take a look at? I'm going to mark P2/S3 for now.
