User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:79.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/79.0
Steps to reproduce:
Using 79.0b4, the google login page https://accounts.google.com/signin/v2/identifier?hl=en&passive=true&continue=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2F&flowName=GlifWebSignIn&flowEntry=ServiceLogin freezes once I type in my e-mail.
Actual results:
Using 79.0b4 on my Macbook Pro, the google login page https://accounts.google.com/signin/v2/identifier?hl=en&passive=true&continue=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2F&flowName=GlifWebSignIn&flowEntry=ServiceLogin freezes once I type in my e-mail.
Expected results:
A page should have loaded that asked for my password.
This process works fine with Safari
My Facebook page doesn't display properly. The first post shows, but the second and third are blank. No posts after that. As with Google, Safari shows the page OK.

Hello! I tried to reproduce the issue with the link provided in the description but I was unsuccessful.
In order to investigate further this issue i have a few questions.
- Does this issue occur with a new profile? Here is link to how you can create a new profile: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Firefox/Multiple_profiles
- Does the issue happen on the latest nightly version? Here is a link from where you can download it: https://nightly.mozilla.org/
- Do you use addons and if so can you provide a list with them?
Thank you!
Thank you for asking!
This problem that I was having with the 79 beta was hampering my work, so I bailed. I saved all my bookmarks and login info to a different browser. Then I uninstalled Firefox and deleted the folder in Library. I then downloaded the current release, 78.0.2, and restored my info from the other browser. 78.0.2 works fine!
Before taking those steps, I did create a new profile in 79. The problem persisted even so. That's when I decided to bail.
Unfortunately, this means that I can't help you track down this bug. Maybe it was just me!
Thanks for the link to the nightly version. I'll let others test the beta releases from now on.

Hello Sam! Regarding this issue could you please try to login to google disabling the enhanced tracking protection from the shield icon in the address bar? And did you use add block or privacy possum as add-ons because this add-ons have a history in creating login issues.
Thank you for your contribution!
Thank you for your gracious reply and question! As I wrote, I uninstalled the 79 beta and did a fresh install of 78.0.2. Enhanced tracking protection is enabled on my 78.0.2. No problems with Google or Facebook with 78.0.2. When I had the 79 beta, I did not have add-ons.

Hello Sam! Can you please verify if the issue is still reproducible on the latest Firefox Nightly?
Here is a link for downloading the latest Nightly version https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/desktop/
