User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/83.0.4103.116 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Install Windows 10 x64 2004 on SSD.
  2. Install Chrome latest, do not use any extensions, install to SSD
  3. Measure startup time after using Chrome for 2 days so Windows 10 Superfetch knows how to load Chrome Quickly.
  4. Install Firefox 78.0.1, do not use any extensions, install to SSD
  5. Measure startup time after using Chrome for 2 days so Windows 10 Superfetch knows how to load Chrome Quickly.

Actual results:

Chrome opens in under 0.5 seconds.
Firefox opens in 5-6 seconds no matter if it is the first or the n-th startup attempt.
SSD is used for both browsers and system.
Sysinternals ProcMon csv log is attached (with timestamps).

Expected results:

Firefox opens in under 0.5 seconds.

Step 4 should be "Measure startup time after using Firefox for 2 days so Windows 10 Superfetch knows how to load Firefox quickly.

Windows 10 defender was disabled using the group policy so no MsMpEng.exe process was running to measure the startup accurately.
