Steps to reproduce:

While using Firefox 78.0.1 (64-bit) on Ubuntu 18.04.4: Selected Preferences --> Home --> Top Sites

Actual results:

Blank new tab page with nothing showing

Expected results:

New tab page should have showed the usual icons of Top Sites, Highlights, Snippets

Bugbug thinks this bug should belong to this component, but please revert this change in case of error.

What do you have set for:

"Homepage" and "new windows and New tabs" under "New Windows and Tabs" inside preferences --> Home

When set to blank page, icons did not appear. I reset to "Firefox Default" and now have the icons back. Not a bug, my error in failing to try all combinations of settings.
